In the Classroom

14 October 2017

Half-term is here, and the time feels right to document the ongoing evolution of my workspace. With a few projects in – and up, student work is finally taking over the powder blue walls. I started with a very empty room, but slowly I’ve been filling my temple to creativity.

The remaining still life collages are up, and we’re waiting on a framed print of the big painting we made for the art auction, which takes place next week. We are on the cusp of completing our 'cubed' paintings, and the value studies of gemstones have made a rather dazzling addition to the space.

Hoping in the coming weeks to colonise the back wall with colour studies and fill the ceiling wires with something sculptural. But for now, the beach calls.
