For our unit on Responsibility, Grade 8s in e-learning mode were tasked with using the graphic design programme Canva to create public health posters encouraging the public to make responsible personal choices in order to protect themselves and others during the current coronavirus pandemic. Students learned some useful tips on effective poster design and then incorporated those principles as they worked to produce eye-catching and informative posters using the graphics, fonts and editing tools available in the programme.
